At Pauls Details 904, we strive to provide the highest quality mobile detailing services in Jacksonville, FL. We want every customer to be happy with their vehicle. However, because detailing is a labor-intensive service, we have specific guidelines regarding refunds and re-service.
1. Satisfaction Guarantee (The "Re-Clean" Policy)
Our primary goal is your satisfaction. We generally do not offer monetary refunds for services once they have been completed. Instead, we offer a Satisfaction Guarantee:

Walkthrough Requirement: At the completion of the service, we will ask you to perform a final inspection of the vehicle with us. This is the time to point out any missed spots or concerns.

On-Site Correction: If you find an issue during the walkthrough, we will fix it immediately on-site at no extra charge.

48-Hour Grace Period: If you notice a significant issue that was missed during the final inspection, please contact us within 48 hours of the service. We will arrange a time to return and correct the specific area of concern.

Note: This guarantee does not cover new dirt, spills, or damage accumulated after we leave the premises.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. However, late cancellations hurt our mobile business by leaving gaps in our route that cannot be filled.

24-Hour Notice: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment penalty-free up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $25 (or 20% of the service value).

No-Shows: If we arrive at your location and you are not present, or if the vehicle is locked/inaccessible for more than 15 minutes, the appointment will be considered a "No-Show" and may be charged 50% of the total service cost to cover our travel and time.
3. Inclement Weather Policy (Rain Checks)
Living in Florida, we know the weather is unpredictable.

Safety First: We cannot detail vehicles in heavy rain, lightning, or high winds.

No Fees: If we must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to weather, no cancellation fees will apply. We will contact you as early as possible to move your appointment to the next available slot.

Partial Service: If rain begins halfway through a service, we will complete the interior (if safe) and issue a credit or schedule a quick return visit to finish the exterior once the weather clears.
4. Pre-Existing Conditions & Liability
We are professional detailers, but we cannot fix permanent damage with cleaning alone. Refunds or free re-cleans will not be issued for:

Permanent Stains: Some stains (dye transfer, set-in mold, bleach spots) may be permanent. We will do our best to reduce them, but we cannot guarantee 100% removal.

Damage: Scratches, dents, clear coat failure (peeling paint), or cracked leather that were present before the detail.

Biohazards: If a vehicle is found to have undisclosed biohazards (excessive mold, bodily fluids, pest infestations), we reserve the right to stop service. You will be charged only for the time/labor already spent, or a minimum trip fee.
5. Gift Cards
Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are transferable, meaning you can give your gift card to someone else to use if you wish.
